Multicultural Diaspora Business Networking Evening 2025
다문화 사업가 포럼 및 2025 송년회

The Drawing Room Level 15, 1 O'Connell St, Sydney NSW
Friday, 19th December 2025
Season's Greetings

On 19 December, VoKAB (Voice of Korean Australian Businesses) hosted the ' Multicultural Diaspora Business Networking Evening: Season's Greetings ', a warm and relaxed gathering to connect, reflect, and celebrate the collective efforts and achievements built across our communities.
The evening was intentionally informal, with no pressure and no agenda, allowing people to come together naturally, build friendships, and celebrate connection as we looked ahead to the year to come.
The event brought together leaders and members from the Australia-Philippines Business Council (APBC), Australia Vietnam Business Council (AVBC), and the Indonesia Business Council (IBC), and we were delighted to welcome members of the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce (ATCC).

The purpose of the evening was to strengthen relationships across diaspora business communities and to remind us that genuine collaboration is built over time through trust, personal connection, and mutual understanding. Australia’s multicultural business chambers are among our nation’s greatest assets. Beyond creating business opportunities, they connect Australia to global networks and cultural knowledge that strengthen our society and economy.

As we gathered, many of us were reflecting on the recent tragic events in Bondi, a sobering reminder of how fragile social harmony can be. Moments like this reinforce the importance of understanding, openness, and genuine human connection in a multicultural society.

Events like this truly matter. They create space for trust to grow, empathy to deepen, and communities to strengthen. In multicultural Australia, our greatest strength lies not only in our diversity, but in how consciously we choose to connect with one another and globally.

We are deeply grateful to all our guests for making time to attend during a busy end-of-year season. Your presence and willingness to engage made the evening truly meaningful. We also sincerely thank the Overseas Korean Agency (OKA) &  Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Sydneyfor its continued support in strengthening connections across Australia’s diverse diaspora communities.
A special thanks to
John Tantoco, George Votava, Josep Rustam, Marco Zammarrelli, Venkat Jayarai
