New Era

​Epping Club
The 1st of Dec 2025


VoKAB successfully hosted the 2025 Australia–Korea Closer Than Ever:​The New Era forum on 1 December at the Epping Club in Sydney, following our flagship program, the 2024 Australia–Korea Closer Than Ever: Knowing Korea event.
This year’s forum brought together leaders from government, science, technology, education, defence, business, and the Korean-Australian community, including Australia’s multicultural and diaspora business chambers, to explore how Australia and Korea can deepen cooperation in this new era of bilateral relations.
The forum was designed to:
  • Highlight new opportunities for collaboration across emerging and strategic sectors
  • Discuss how Korean-Australian entrepreneurs (SMEs), professionals, and community leaders can play a more strategic and influential role in shaping bilateral engagement
  • Strengthen people-to-people networks, the foundation of long-term cooperation
  • Provide a platform for SMEs, researchers, policymakers, and diaspora leaders to connect and exchange insights
